Today I was just thinking....

How long do I have to live? Are we all predestined to live a certain number of days? Are our hearts preprogrammed to beat a certain number of beats? I was just thinking, if i knew I only had a short time to live, would I be scared? Would I accept my fate? So many people out there who are put in this situation. Be happy with what you have. I should feel lucky that I have a healthy life. This what just what I was thinking about today.....

Ok........ time to lose weight

Been trying for the longest time to lose weight. But with work and bad eating habits, it's been really tough. So I am going to make a concerted effort and I will log it in my blog. Hopefully I will be able to maintain it. So here is the goal. I want to lose 30 pounds before the end of this year. That gives me a little less than 6 months to reach that goal. If i can lose 6 pounds a month, I will be able to reach that goal. Any suggestions to help me or even success stories would help me a lot. :)

What kind of bird is this?

One winter morning this past year, a bird was perched on my balcony. It was amazing to see. Still havent figured out exactly what type of bird. I think it's a hawk. It stayed there for a good 10 minutes as you can see. I tried to feed it some pine nuts but it wouldnt budge. I guess they dont like to eat nuts :) Unfortunately, I didnt have any rodents to coax the bird with.

Exhausted....

Just got back from my indoor soccer game. No air conditioning in the arena. It was 85 degrees and humid. It was like a sauna!! Everyone looked like they showered with their clothes on after the game. We lost 2-0. I play in a league every Wednesday. It's a good workout but the games can start as late as 11pm. So it can be tiring sometimes. Hopefully this weather will cool off soon. I hate humid weather. Reminds me of Singapore. The difference is that in Singapore they have this weather year round. I don't know how people can tolerate the heat there. Just a thought, why do people in America call the game soccer and why is it called football everywhere else in the world? Going to shower now......

Today I was thinking about preparing a list of 100 things I wanted to do before I die. I am not sure if I can think of 100 things to do but I am going to try my best. I will have the list out before the end of this month. Anybody out there have a list they want to share? thanks.

Introduction

I guess everyone has a blog nowadays. I am going to get on the bandwagon and see how long I can keep this up for. Hopefully I can provide some interesting thoughts and some insight about my life, about life in general. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
